Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
This Sacrament is celebrated at the following times,

  • St. David’s, Dalkeith :- Saturday evening from 5.20 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. before Vigil Mass.
  • St. Luke & St. Anne’s, Mayfield :- Saturday morning from 9.30 a.m. before and then immediately after 10.00 a.m. Mass.
  • In either parish, at any suitable time by request.

This weekend a collection will be taken up for the aged and infirm clergy of the diocese.

Please collect a pink envelope from the back of the church if you wish to gift-aid your donation.
Please remember that you must fill in the details on the envelope for the money to be claimed back!

A very warm welcome to Sister Jean Lawson RSCJ
who arrived during the week to take up her post in the Rosehill Community.
Some of you will know Sister Jean already and others will recognise her from previous visits.
We wish her every blessing in her ministry here and look forward to getting to know her better.

The Funeral Mass for Marie Armour will take place at St. Luke & St. Anne’s next Thursday at 10 a.m.
Please note that there will be no Thursday morning Mass in St. David’s.
Please remember Marie and her family in your prayers.
May she rest in peace.

Pantomime tickets.
All pantomime tickets must be paid for this weekend.
There are still a few tickets remaining, so if anyone still needs tickets please let us know.

This is the last weekend before numbers are finalised.

This Sunday (17th September).

• Pro-Life Teas & Coffees in the hall after Mass.

• The Annual Pilgrimage
to pray for the beatification of the Venerable Margaret Sinclair takes place from 2-6 p.m. at St. Patrick's in the Cowgate.
Mass will be at 4.30 p.m. and the preacher will be Fr. Richard Reid.

Friday 22nd September 7.30 p.m. St. David's
Lourdes 10
th anniversary Thanksgiving Mass.
There will be cheese and wine in the hall afterward.
Please come and look at the photos and read about all the experiences.
Donations of raffle prizes would be greatly appreciated.

Raffle tickets on sale after 11 a.m. Mass.
Raffle prize draw to be made in the hall at teas & coffees.

Saturday 30th September - Vincentian Family Annual Carfin Mass -Rosary Procession at 1 p.m., Mass at 2 p.m.
Transport by coach from Bonnyrigg, details to be announced.
If you would like a place on the coach please put your name on the list at the back of the Church.
