Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
This Sacrament is celebrated at the following times,

  • St. David’s, Dalkeith :- Saturday evening from 5.20 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. before Vigil Mass.
  • St. Luke & St. Anne’s, Mayfield :- Saturday morning from 9.30 a.m. before and then immediately after 10.00 a.m. Mass.
  • In either parish, at any suitable time by request.


Parish News and Events.


The Knitting Club meets on Thursday afternoons from 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in Rosehill.
Sr. Jean would like to extend a warm welcome to ALL Ladies who would simply like to come along for a cup of tea and a chat.

The funeral Mass for Canon Bill Anderson will take place in St. Peter’s, Morningside on Friday 19th January at 11.30 a.m., with reception into the Church on Thursday 18th at 5.00 p.m.
May he rest in peace.


There will be a short meeting for all those who are Eucharistic Ministers at St. David’s, next weekend – in the Church after the Vigil Mass and after the Sunday 11.00 a.m. Mass.
If you are unable to make one of these meetings, please let Father Andrew know and another time can be arranged.

Youth for Lourdes Meeting. There will be a meeting for any youth wishing to be considered for this year's Lourdes trip.
It will take place on Wednesday the 24th of January at 7.30 p.m. in the church house.

Sunday 28th January.
Corned Beef Stovies or Lentil Soup with tea and coffee in aid of the children in the Sacred Heart School in the Philippines.

Lourdes Fundraiser. The first fundraising event of 2018, will be on Saturday the 10th of March in St David's church hall. More details to follow.
