Gardening

The formal garden beds at the front of the church are maintained by a professional gardening company.

Other gardening is done by a group meeting on an ad-hoc basis during Summer. Advance notice of each gardening session is posted inside church.

Volunteers are wanted to help weed and trim the flower borders in summer, and possibly cut the grass around the church. It is more fun in a group.

Gardening knowledge is not essential, but can be an advantage - i.e. recognising which plants are weeds for a start!

It can be helpful if you bring your basic gardening tools with you.

Volunteers very welcome - please come forward and make yourself known in church before or after Mass.
