Ministers of the Eucharist

There are a group of around 15 Eucharistic Ministers in St David’s Parish. Ministers are trained and commissioned by the Parish Priest.

Communion under both kinds has been distributed in St David’s from the beginning of Advent 2005.

Ministers assist the Parish Priest on Sundays distributing the Blessed Sacrament, on a rotational basis. Eucharistic Ministers also visit the sick and housebound and distribute Holy Communion
